Ambuluwawa with its stunning 360 degree view is sure to amaze anyone who climbs to the top of the tower. On a clear day, one can clearly see Mount Pidurutalagala to the east of Ambuluwawa, Mount Batalegala (Bible Rock) to the west, Mount Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) to the south and the Knuckles Mountain Range to the north.

Furthermore, one can see Mount Nelligala, Mount Alagalla, Mount Kadugannawa, Mount Hanthana, Mount Hunnasgiriya and all the hills of Nuwara Eliya district from the top of Ambuluwawa Hill. The Mahaweli River and the surrounding fields add to the beauty of the place.

The Ambuluwawa Forest Reserve is home to over 250 species of vines and plants, including flowering plants, Iramusu, Muwa Kiriya and Nawa Handi.

The Ambuluwawa Tower is known as Gowi Jana Seiya in Sinhala. It is 48 m tall and is a magnificent structure that allows you to climb to the top on foot. Many viewpoints have been created to see the stunning surroundings that are only accessible at the top of the Ambuluwawa Hill. As you climb the stairs, the width of the stairs decreases and they take on a spiral shape.
